Universal Soft Close for Sliding Doors – KLEIN U-KSC

Universal Soft Close for Sliding Doors – KLEIN U-KSC

Would you like to add a soft-close function to an existing sliding door without replacing the complete sliding door system? The KLEIN U-KSC universal soft close offers a practical solution for upgrading many existing wooden sliding doors with a smooth and controlled closing mechanism.

What makes this soft-close system unique is its installation at the bottom of the door. This eliminates the need to replace or modify the existing top track, making it suitable for a wide range of sliding door systems from different manufacturers.

Retrofit Soft Close for Existing Sliding Doors

Traditional sliding door soft-close mechanisms are often integrated into the top track. As a result, adding a soft-close function to an existing sliding door system can be difficult or even impossible.

The KLEIN U-KSC provides an alternative solution. Its magnetic soft-close mechanism catches the sliding door during the closing movement, gently slows it down and guides it into its final position.

This prevents the door from slamming against the end stop and improves everyday comfort.

Suitable for New and Existing Sliding Doors

The universal soft-close mechanism is designed for wooden sliding doors with the following specifications:

• Door weight: 25 to 100 kg

• Minimum door thickness: 35 mm

• Minimum door width: 600 mm

• Minimum overlap: 50 + 79 mm

• Installation: At the bottom of the sliding door

• Finish: Black

Universal Sliding Door Damper Without Modifying the Top Track

Unlike conventional soft-close systems, the KLEIN U-KSC operates independently of the upper sliding track.

This makes it particularly useful when upgrading an existing sliding door installation where replacing the track is not desirable.

The system can also be used in new sliding door installations, providing additional comfort without requiring a dedicated soft-close track.

Before installation, always check the door dimensions, weight and available installation space to ensure compatibility.
