Invest in built-in systems? A well-closing sliding door that disappears into the wall using a built-in system is space-saving, stylish and a technically perfect alternative to a hinged interior door. In principle, built-in systems are just as soundproof and draught-proof as traditional hinged doors. When it comes to noise reduction, the door panel itself is of particular importance. BestFix supplies built-in systems for sliding doors from the Italian brand Ermetika®. This brand guarantees quality and ease of use.

Did you know that when purchasing a built-in system for a built-in sliding door, you can choose from different systems? You can choose from sliding door systems with a ready-made built-in cassette, but you can also opt for sliding door systems where the built-in cassette is first assembled yourself before the installation can begin. Both variants are easy and quick to install in a wall that is finished with plasterboard or a wall that is plastered. We leave the choice entirely up to you.
In terms of the appearance of the system, we distinguish between 2 main categories: classic built-in systems and built-in systems with a smooth finish. We will go into each category in more detail:
These are the built-in systems that are finished with a door frame and finishing frame (architrave). NB! These must be ordered separately. These systems are perfect if there are doors elsewhere in the house that are finished with a door frame and architrave, as you can make them visually equal.
Give your interior a sleek and minimalist look, for example in combination with steel sliding doors? This is possible using a built-in sliding door system with a smooth finish! With these systems, the door frame is integrated into the system and no finishing strip is required around the door opening. For example, you can make a sliding door panel disappear from the eye in the wall or give it an extra accent.
You can choose from sliding door systems with a ready-to-use built-in cassette or sliding door systems where the built-in cassette is first assembled yourself before installation can begin. The built-in systems that you will find in our webshop are all suitable for finishing with plasterboard, because this is the most common finish in the Benelux.
We keep stock of the most common types of built-in systems in standard sizes. This is mainly for built-in systems that are finished with plasterboard. Do you have special wishes or are you bound by a certain delivery date? In that case, please contact us in advance.
It may be that you want to install a system on an existing stone wall. Then it can be practical to opt for a system with a mesh net over the cassette. The advantage of this is that the built-in cassette is immediately plastered with the rest of the wall. It is also possible to order these systems. Please contact us for this.
A number of our systems offer a solution for more specific construction situations. Think of places where electricity has to be incorporated into the wall, exactly where a built-in sliding door should be installed, or a situation where an automated system is desired. So nice!
We leave the choice of a door panel entirely to the customer. Of course you can choose a door panel from us, but door panels from another supplier can also be used in our systems as long as it is a blunt door (so no rebated door) and the door meets a minimum thickness of 38 mm and a maximum thickness of 34 mm.
For larger projects (from 5 pieces), a built-in system with a ready-to-use cassette is very suitable. In addition to the time savings, because the frame does not have to be assembled first, fewer items are lost on the construction site and work can continue quickly.
